Dingwall Leisure Centre - Facilities
Swimming Facilities:
Dingwall Leisure Centre offers first class swimming facilities and a wide choice of sessions, tailor made to suit most requirements (see below for details). Whether it’s fun with the family, lane swimming or relaxation you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for right here.
Swimming pool sessions available include:
Traffic Jam – Fun and laughter in the pool with the Aquarun – competency swim test may be required before use- See lifeguards for details.
Family Session – designed for families (no un-accompanied adults or children) mats & toys will be out for the kids. Flume also opened upon request using family friendly flume guidelines
Adult sessions – A quieter session without the kids - Come along for a relaxing swim, soak in the spa bath or try out the steam room.
Early bird swims – Mondays & Thursdays from 7.00am (for finish times please see the current pool programme) come and have a gym or swim before you go off to work.
Lanes – Part of the pool will be laned off for swimmers from 1.00 to 2.00pm, 5.45 to 6.45pm and 8.45 to 9.30pm Monday to Wednesday, 1.00 to 2.00pm, 5.30 to 6.30pm and 8.30 to 9.30pm on Thursdays & 1.00 to 2.00pm, 6.15 to 7.45pm and 8.45 to 9.30pm on Fridays.
Snorkelling session – Part of the pool will be dedicated to snorkels & masks only (equipment not provided by the leisure centre).

Fitness & Weights room:Recently refurbished, this state of the art facility offers a fantastic range of equipment combined with helpful and professional advice from fully trained staff. With individual LCD televisions fitted to the majority of our cardio-vascular equipment, giving a choice of 10 channels, this fitness suite offers a training experience second to none.

Main Sports Hall:This multi purpose hall has space for four courts and holds a capacity of 250 people. As well as offering a wide range of sports and activities its size and versatility allows it to also be used for special bookings, conferences and events. Activities available include:

Activity Hall: The smaller of our two halls, though still a substantial size, this hall holds a capacity of 100 people. Available for a variety of uses this hall is also utilised by an assortment of clubs and associations, from martial arts to bowling. |

Cafeteria, Lounge & Social Space:Our cafeteria, lounge and social space is spread out over a large area and holds a capacity of 80 people, offering a wide selection of food and drink - why not pop in for a coffee or a bite to eat?

Parties/Special Bookings/MeetingsOur party/meeting room holds a capacity of 45 people and is available for a wide variety of uses. Located in a quiet section of the building, this room also has its own private public convenience facilities. For parties and special bookings the leisure centre offers a choice of equipment to make that day extra special. |

We have a variety of facilities and aids on hand to ensure that anyone with special needs can have access to our facilities; including – Disabled toilet, separate disabled shower area with handrails, lift for wheelchair access and a pool hoist.
